Cousin's

After Christmas we went down to Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Jeremy's for cousin gift exchange with Eli's side of the family. The kids all had a great time playing and giving each other gifts.

Christmas 2009

Christmas at our home was a success! Christmas Eve we had family and friends all around for a delicious ham dinner. Aunt Emily was able to join us for the BIG day this year. As always the kiddos made out like bandits. Josh is stocked on guitar accessories and books. Noah wanted G.I. Joe stuff, slot cars, and the Spiderwick books. Erika was really hoping for littlest pet shop and more American Girl doll stuff she got it as well as the books. Little Sarah loves her giggling bear named "Strawberry" and her learning table is a little advanced for her, but she is growing like a weed so she will be ready for it in no time.

Erika's Christmas Performance!

Erika did an absolutely wonderful job as usual. She danced to "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" and Dad brought our beautiful Erika red roses!

Meeting Santa

Every Christmas for Eli's work party Santa and Mrs. Claus come they bring all the kids under 12 a gift. There is always have a magic show as well; the kids have a blast!

Principal's Pride

Noah and Erika both received Principal's Pride on the same day! Noah was recognized for his willingness to help others and for making exceptional use of his time in class. Erika was was recognized for the excellent quality of her school work especially art. We are very proud of our smart kids. Also attached is a short video of Sarah being her adorable self.

Space Derby

Noah won his first Space Derby! He had the fastest Rocket there by far. He and Dad built it with teamwork. At the very end he even raced against the Scout Leader who brought the race equipment and beat him too -- Congratulations Noah!

The First Snow

Saturday was a blizzard all day at our house. Sunday the kiddos got to play in the snow; while all the Dad's watched football.

Our Broncos lost :(, but Eli's Colts won :)

Early last week Sarah discovered that she can "talk" just like the other kids. When playing or after waking, she'll jabber away and yes her little arms and legs are in constant motion.

It's that time of year -- Halloween Costumes and Pumpkin Picking! Noah and Erika are off track so we spent tons of time finding the perfect pumpkins -- Thanks Krista!

The Weekend

We spent the weekend at home Sarah got to meet more friends and family. She is very well tempered and happy. Krista helped Erika by pulling out her tooth that has been dangling for the last few weeks. Noah is in scouts, so a random picture is attached.

Autumn!

I haven't been very prompt with updates as of late; our new addition has yet to arrive, but she will soon make her grand entrance and we'll get pictures added.

Autumn is finally here! We spent Saturday picking the last of the tomatoes, getting the garden and yard winter ready. The change of the season is always my favorite. The kids are all involved in their actives; Erika is back to dance, Noah is loving Scouts and Josh of course is still playing guitar.

School Pictures

Noah and Erika's School Pictures came home on Friday. Noah is now a big 3rd Grader and Erika is in 2nd Grade. Josh had his pictures taken, but we don't have them yet. We have great looking kids!

Bees Game!

We try to take the kids to a couple Bees games every summer; it makes for the perfect afternoon this time was no exception. Aunt Emily came along and is with us for the week which is highlight enough; but it gets better. We always try to get seats behind 1st base every game for two reasons: 1. You sit in the shade. 2. As the home team runs in they throw the used baseball to the kids in the crowd. Our kids have never been the kids to catch the ball including today. One of the players told them to wait; he went in to the locker room and came out. He then had them lay across the top of the dug out so he could roll them each a ball. He told them not to tell, so they returned with their balls full of excitment!
