Getting Ready for Christmas

I am so lucky! Erika has helped me with get ready for Christmas. It has been so much fun for me to watch her emboss cards, address envelopes, put up decorations and all the rest. Here over the next couple weeks the baking will begin and I'm sure she will continue to help. She is growing up so much and she is such a joy to be around.

Halloween

On Trick-or-Treat day our little teddy bear would not sit still; therefore the pictures reflect such. Noah was a secret agent, Erika a scary witch, and Sarah an adorable teddy bear. All the kids carved pumpkins, no help from me!

Catchin' Up

I haven't been very good about updating our blog the last few months, but we have been very busy. We are getting ready for Halloween this weekend, below are some pics. The first term in school is over in a week; Noah did an excellent desert diorama for his big project, Erika had a read-a-thon, and Josh is getting a day of the dead mask ready. We finally got Erika's dance pics for her last performance and little Sarah is going to be walking any day!

One

Sarah turned 1! She had a great little party, as with every 1st Birthday the cake is the star. Sarah was happy to eat if Dad fed it to her, but on her own it was cake destruction :)

Josh Gets His Licence and Car

Eli took Josh down to the DMV bright and early this morning to wait in line and get his licence. We also bought this Nissan a month ago and have been working on getting it "road ready" for Josh to drive. It's all just in time for the start of school and his new job as a lot tech at the dealership.

Summer is almost Over

School is going to start in a little over a week. Where has the summer gone? We have been a very busy family. We been to parades, the pool a lot, BB Q's, Lagoon (twice), sleepovers with friends and family, we moved, ate tons of Popsicles, the list goes on. This last weekend we had the opportunity to volunteer with Paint your Heart Out. Josh, Noah, Erika and I spent Saturday painting an elderly man's house in downtown Salt Lake -- it was good for the soul fun and physically exhausting - the big bonus I took pictures. Huge thank you to Cami for watching our little Sarah. Speaking of Sarah she is growing so fast. Last week she cut her first tooth, she crawls at warp speed and has started to pull her self up every chance she gets. It won't be long and she'll be walking.

Lagoon + Crawling

Saturday the 26th we went to Lagoon with my work. It was a ton of fun! The kids got to drive the Thunder Mountain Raceway. Erika had her first time on the rocket; she was finally tall enough. The boys of course went on every ride they in could. Little Miss Sarah was a good sport and rode in the stroller and chewed on water bottles all day.
The very next morning Sunday the 27th Miss Sarah was awake and ready to talk and play at 6:30 am. I put her on the floor to play while we slept a little more - lagoon wears a family out. Half asleep, half awake Eli pointed out that she was down at the bottom of the bed and the dresser was open. She looked up at her dad and started to crawl excitedly to his side of the bed. She's has been a crawling machine ever since.
