We Are Expecting!

We are very excited; we will be welcoming a new baby into our family sometime around October 7th, 2009. The night we announced the BIG news to the kids Noah's very first statement was that we should name the baby, "Andrew" a moment later he stated "Andrew Noah" -- the opposite of his own name. Erika is pulling hard for a girl. Josh is hoping for a healthy baby with Eli and I. We've had an ultrasound and everything is looking great; now the first trimester is over. Everything has gone perfectly so far.

Josh's Spanish Class Homework

Josh's homework for his Spanish class was to make dinner and present a PowerPoint to his class. He made Juevos Rancheros and did and excellent job; the big bonus it was delicious!

Spring Is In The Air!

Baseball is starting! Noah and Erika are both playing this year. Erika threw a fit a few months back; she was tired of dance and wanted to play baseball like Noah. We went along; she is out of dance (she is regretting being tired of dance - already - but we can't sign her back up until fall) and playing baseball. Making decisions can be difficult!

The Rest of the Story!

After friends had gone home from Erika's party; we were having a storybook perfect Saturday afternoon. The kids were in the backyard playing baseball and Mom was inside cleaning house. Through the back door came Noah screaming and crying, then Erika makes it through the door hand over her eye crying as well, but not as loudly as her brother. Noah was hitting and neither was paying attention to the other and our little Erika took a bat to the eye on her birthday. Luckily the skin didn't break, but she now has quite the shiner!
