We try to take the kids to a couple Bees games every summer; it makes for the perfect afternoon this time was no exception. Aunt Emily came along and is with us for the week which is highlight enough; but it gets better. We always try to get seats behind 1st base every game for two reasons: 1. You sit in the shade. 2. As the home team runs in they throw the used baseball to the kids in the crowd. Our kids have never been the kids to catch the ball including today. One of the players told them to wait; he went in to the locker room and came out. He then had them lay across the top of the dug out so he could roll them each a ball. He told them not to tell, so they returned with their balls full of excitment!

Lagoon
We spent Sunday at Lagoon with Aunt Lindsay, Uncle Jeremy and crew. It was lots of fun; I oped to not bring the camera because it is always a trick to figure out how to keep it dry. Summer is coming to a close and school is getting ready to be back in full swing -- ready or not the leaves will soon be falling!

Back to School
Monday was - Back to School! Noah is loving his teacher and has absolutly nothing but praise for Ms. Olson. Third grade is off to a great start. Little Erika is in Second grade and as soon as she knew her teacher was going to be Mrs. Ostler we've had our ears talked off about how fantastic Second grade will be. She has passed her timed math tests each day!
24th of July in Monticello
For the 24th we headed down to Monticello for a quick trip. I had wanted to get lots of pictures of the kids playing out at Dodge Point, but I left the camera in the car. Then Erika had a small fall and got some yucky barb wire cuts luckily it was our tough little Erika one minute of crying and done. We were also able to enjoy the parade and the festivities in the park. It was fun to go back after years of being away and have the celebration be the same. I was disappointed with the Navajo Tacos a highlight of the 24th they have gone down hill. I'm going to have to learn how to make them for myself!
