Lagoon + Crawling

Saturday the 26th we went to Lagoon with my work. It was a ton of fun! The kids got to drive the Thunder Mountain Raceway. Erika had her first time on the rocket; she was finally tall enough. The boys of course went on every ride they in could. Little Miss Sarah was a good sport and rode in the stroller and chewed on water bottles all day.

The very next morning Sunday the 27th Miss Sarah was awake and ready to talk and play at 6:30 am. I put her on the floor to play while we slept a little more - lagoon wears a family out. Half asleep, half awake Eli pointed out that she was down at the bottom of the bed and the dresser was open. She looked up at her dad and started to crawl excitedly to his side of the bed. She's has been a crawling machine ever since.

1st Place!

Noah and his Yankee's have the privilege... the BRAGGING RIGHTS to 1st place this season! All of the boy played their best; they had the best coaches and fans! Congratulations Noah!

Summer here we come...

School has come to an end... Josh finished on the Honor Roll! Noah earned his Soaring Eagle! And Sarah is about to crawl forward -- she can go back, but she gets tangled up in her own feet and lands on her little bum :) Erika has her dance performance right around the corner. As Erika and I were watching Noah accept his award at school we had a conversation that will hopefully shape Erika's commitment to honesty. It went something like:

Erika: Mom, do you know why I didn't get Soaring Eagle?

Mom: You didn't get enough reading minutes.

Erika: Remember you asking me every week where the paper from my teacher was and I told you my teacher didn't send it home?

Mom: I remember.

Erika: I lied, and now I didn't get a soaring eagle.

Mom: I know, will you lie next year?

Erika: I don't think so...

We will all see what happens.

Last weekend we took Sarah outside to play while we did yard work. She had a great time as you can see. Noah has been playing baseball he is playing for the Minor Yankee's. They are #1 right now!

16!!!

Josh has turned 16! He wanted a tube amp - guess what he got - a tube amp. He has promised to learn an entire song so that we can record him playing; he is working on learning Johnny B. Goode. He is getting to be absolutely awesome on the guitar --in pictures Josh insists on making crazy faces, so this is the best we've got.
