The last couple weeks have been fun filled at our house. Last weekend we went to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point -- it was tons of fun below there are a few short videos. Last night little Sarah had her first taste of solid food - picture below.
Josh is still playing the guitar and getting better everyday. I can almost recognise all the little cords he puts together and what song they are -- amazing! He is finishing up driver's ed (aah!) time flies in a few more months he'll be a licenced driver.Noah is in scouts and loving it. Baseball season has just begun and he is having practice three times each week. Each time I watch I am absolutely amazed by Noah's ever improving ability.Erika is our dancing queen she is preparing for her summer performance; as always she is excelling. She is my super helper she has been in training for a little baby forever and is always under foot talking away; ready and willing.Sarah is surviving my need to be a "hippie" she is developing ahead of schedule in all departments. She can sit all on her own for about 5 minutes and talks non-stop her favorite game is the classic peek'a-boo; we are so blessed to have her and her happy disposition. Sarah has her daddy's beautiful big blue eyes and grandpa Mack's fly away hair. She is 100% breastfed and just had her very first taste of homemade baby food last night; it was a hit!

Erika's Birthday! and UPDATE
Erika is now 8! She has been asking/begging for an American Girl doll ever since her dad got her the American Girl magazine and now she has one. Her other dream has been to get her ears pierced. A few years ago she asked me if we could get her ears pieced and I told her I got my ears pierced for my 12th birthday. Erika took my story to mean she would get her ears pierced for her 12th birthday; she has been so jealous of the girls at school with their pieced ears. We decided to surprise her and get it done for her 8th birthday -- we got there and Eli leaned down as we were to the doors and asked, "Are you ready to get your ears pierced?" Erika started to cry, "No, No." It only took a moment of picking out the earrings and she was ready to go, a few tears but nothing major.

Noah's 9th Birthday!
First of all, Noah's Birthday was on January 31st. I have been a slacker and not posted his Birthday pictures yet. We started Noah's Birthday with delicious waffles. Noah got a super cool erector set and and a snap circuit set; he didn't even know about these excellent toys. It has been a week now and every free moment that he can he has spent building a helicopter and putting together electronics. He picked homemade Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, gravy and of course vegetables for his birthday dinner. Amazingly Noah requested a chocolate cake; as many of you know Noah has claimed to HATE chocolate since he was about four. I found a fabulous cake recipe that turned out great!
